Employee Codes: (Subtle changes in hours and times may occur to fit weather for regions, Items below are guidelines and may be subject to change)
Due to the nature of the services we provide, Lindley Habilitation does not close. Lindley does acknowledge that different weather conditions may be dangerous to drive in. When employee codes not requiring employees to attend a shift are used, the LHSemployee will not be disciplined by the agency for not attending the shift. It is our goal to offer all other team members and agency staff shifts available even during severe weather conditions. LHS only uses Emergency coverage rates for normal days of operation. The agency does not use this tool when school is out due to inclement weather and every consumer at once has schedule changes. Administrative Staff are always welcome to work at the office. If an Administrative staff pulls themself from their office hours they are responsible for any time off requests and communication with their Direct supervisor.
Employee Code 5: The office building is closed and hab. tech's are not required to work, but may choose to do so upon their discretion. If Hab. Tech's are not working their scheduled shift they are required to contact their consumer to make them aware immediately. Parents may contact their CS (During business hours) or On-call if additional coverage may be needed, with the understanding that staff may choose not to work due to the current conditions. The on-call team will contact all Hab. Tech's trained with the consumer to offer the shift if the family requests coverage.
For families that have made arrangements to drive staff to and or from work due to inclement weather, please understand that this is an arrangement made between those 2 parties, and LHS does not participate in anyway in this agreement. |
