Employee Codes: (Subtle changes in hours and times may occur to fit weather for regions, Items below are guidelines and may be subject to change)

Due to the nature of the services we provide, Lindley Habilitation does not close. Lindley does acknowledge that different weather conditions may be dangerous to drive in. When employee codes not requiring employees to attend a shift are used, the LHSemployee will not be disciplined by the agency for not attending the shift. It is our goal to offer all other team members and agency staff shifts available even during severe weather conditions.


Employee Code Normal: The office hours and Hab. Tech's shifts are operating as normal.

Employee Code 1:
The office hours and Hab. Tech's shifts will resume all normal activities after 10:00am. Hab. Tech's are not required to work prior to 10:00am, but may choose to do so upon their discretion. Consumers are not to be taken out of the home prior to 10:00am. If Hab. Tech's are not working their scheduled shift they are required to contact their consumer to make them aware immediately. Parents may contact their CS or On-call if additional coverage may be needed, with the understanding that staff are not required to work prior to 10:00am due to the current conditions.The on-call team will contact all Hab. Tech's trained with the consumer to offer the shift if the family requests coverage.

Employee Code 2:
The office hours and Hab. tech's will resume all normal activities after 10:00am, Hab. tech's are not required to work prior to 10:00am, but may choose to do so upon their discretion. If Hab. Tech's are not working their scheduled shift they are required to contact their consumer to make them aware immediately. Consumers are not to be taken into the community. Parents may contact their CS or On-call if additional coverage may be needed, with the understanding that staff are not required to work prior to 10:00am due to the current conditions. The on-call team will contact all Hab. Tech's trained with the consumer to offer the shift if the family requests coverage.

Employee Code 3:
The office hours and Hab. tech's will resume all normal activities after 12:00 noon. Hab. tech's are not required to work prior to noon, but may choose to do so upon their discretion. If Hab. Tech's are not working their scheduled shift they are required to contact their consumer to make them aware immediately. Consumers are not to be taken into the community until 2pm. Parents may contact their CS or On-call if additional coverage may be needed, with the understanding that staff are not required to work prior to noon due to the current conditions. The on-call team will contact all Hab. Tech's trained with the consumer to offer the shift if the family requests coverage.

Employee Code 4:
The office hours and hab. tech's will resume all normal activities after 2pm; hab. tech's are not required to work prior to 2pm, but may choose to do so upon their discretion. If Hab. Tech's are not working their scheduled shift they are required to contact their consumer to make them aware immediately. Consumers are not to be taken out of the home. Parents may contact their CS or On-call if additional coverage may be needed, with the understanding that staff are not required to work prior to 2pm due to the current conditions. The on-call team will contact all Hab. Tech's trained with the consumer to offer the shift if the family requests coverage.

Employee Code 5: The office building is closed and hab. tech's are not required to work, but may choose to do so upon their discretion. If Hab. Tech's are not working their scheduled shift they are required to contact their consumer to make them aware immediately. Parents may contact their CS (During business hours) or On-call if additional coverage may be needed, with the understanding that staff may choose not to work due to the current conditions. The on-call team will contact all Hab. Tech's trained with the consumer to offer the shift if the family requests coverage.


Employee Code 0:
A storm is approaching that may require businesses and schools to close early. Attach Code from above that best suits the situation.

Employee Code/Timeframe:
Due to icing, consumers are to be taken back to their homes prior to sunset. (Timeframe given)

Employee Code Immediate: Due to Immediate weather change, consumers are to be taken home immediately

For families that have made arrangements to drive staff to and or from work due to inclement weather, please understand that this is an arrangement made between those 2 parties, and LHS does not participate in anyway in this agreement.
