Congratulations to Shannon Holder as our Employee of the Third Quarter, 2010.
Shannon has only been with Lindley Habilitation Services a few months and has already proven to be a very reliable and professional hab tech. She has demonstrated great communication skills with administrative staff and the family with which she works. If Shannon has data corrections or any other information due, she is very prompt to get everything taken care of. Her positive attitude and enthusiasm for her work are apparent in that the consumer she works with gets excited each day when it is time for her to come and asks for her when she is not there. Although she has only been with him for a short time, he is very comfortable with her and they are working well together to accomplish his goals. She keeps him active in the community and involves him in Lindley activities as much as possible. Overall, Shannon is off to a great start and we are excited to see her continued growth and her consumer to continue his tremendous progress under her guidance.
Again Lindley would like to congratulate Shannon Holder as our Employee of the Third Quarter.

Congratulations to Tameka Cummings as our 2010 Employee of 2nd Quarter.
Tameka is a very reliable and dedicated staff. Her passion for this field really shows through in the quality of her work and care that she provides to her consumer. She takes her commitment to her consumer and his family very seriously, and if she commits to doing something then she makes sure to follow through no matter how big or small. Everyone who has had an opportunity to meet/work with Tameka feels she is a joy to be around with her pleasant and positive attitude. Tameka does not think about “if” she can do something but “how.” With her consistency and enthusiasm, she has been able to accomplish many things with her consumer. Tameka has built a great amount of trust with her consumer’s family by her dependability and open and clear communication with them about what is going on daily. Her consumers family is very appreciative and happy with the care that she provides to the consumer, and even felt so comfortable that this past month they took their first out of town trip in over 2 years, leaving the consumer with Tameka for a few days-something that they have not felt comfortable doing in a very long time. Tameka encouraged the family trip, and saw it as a pleasure to be able to help the family take some time to relax and rejuvenate them. Tameka is also very good about communicating with her supervisor and other agency administrative staff and does an excellent job on all of her paper work. Tameka is a tremendous asset not only to the consumer and their family, but the Lindley Habilitation team.
Again Lindley would like to congratulate Tameka Cummings as our 2010 Employee of 2nd Quarter. |

Janet has worked hard to develop a good relationship with her consumer which has contributed to the success that they have together in accomplishing goals. She maintains good communication with her consumer’s family and her supervisor about any questions or concerns that she has and gives good feedback regarding the consumer’s goals and daily activities. Janet is a valuable part of her consumer’s team and we appreciate her hard work and dedication.

Korey McCauley/ 4th Quarter 2010
|
Although Kory has been with LHS for less than a year now, she has become a great asset to our team. When she came in as a brand new staff, she hit the ground running with enthusiasm and great ideas for working with her consumer. She has developed great communication with the family and the team and all that have had an opportunity to work with her sing her praises. She is very patient, laid back and willing to try new things with her consumer-she has even been able to get him to attend community activities that he previously would not attend. She is constantly seeking new learning opportunities that will assist her with helping her consumer grow. She is a great advocate for her consumer and is always very person centered in her care and discussion of her consumer. Along with her direct care responsibilities, she has recently become our activity instructor for the Triangle Region. Korey has helped in so many ways with supervising activities along with exploring new ideas for other activities. Again congratulation to Kory McCauley. |
