At this time, Lindley Habilitation is accepting all applications; however, we are only interviewing on a limited basis depending on consumer need.  We will only contact those applicants that will meet our current consumer need to schedule an interview.

  • Do You Have A Clean Criminal Record, or Does it Fall Within Our Guidelines?
    • No more than 2 speeding tickets in 1 year; no more than 3 in 2 years.
    • No speeding tickets for 15 over the speed limit.
    • No DUI in the past 5 years.
    • No more than 2 Misdemeanors in the past 5 years.
    • No felony charges or convictions in the past 5 years.
    • No drug possession/use charges, or convictions within the last 10 years.
      • LHS reserves the right to hear and consider these on a case by case basis.

Habilitation Technicians - Employment Opportunities for Part-Time Habilitation Technicians to provide one-on-one, direct-care services to individuals with developmental disabilities in the community and in the client's homes in Raleigh, Cary, Garner, Wake Forest and surrounding areas of NC.  

No experience is required to be a habilitation technician. If you are selected to work with a client, you will receive paid trainings in First Aid and CPR, North Carolina Interventions, Bloodborne Pathogens, Positioning/Turning/Transferring Clients, Orienation, Medication Administration, and one-on-one training with the client you were selected to work with.  

You are required to have your own transportation, a valid driver's license, current auto insurance, pass our criminal record check standards, and a High School diploma or the equivalent.

Typically, the hours vary M-F between 2:30pm and 9:30pm and 10am-6pm on Saturday/Sunday (applicants do not need to be available all days and there may be occassional morning and day shift available).  We also have on-call, fill-in jobs available, which we pay at a higher rate of pay.  We serve clients and families in the Triangle Region of North Carolina and have employment opportunities in Wake County.

  • Driver License
  • Social Security Card or Birth Certificate.
  • Car Insurance(must have your name and policy dates.)
  • Vehicle Registration.
  • Vehicle Inspection.
  • Voided check or Bank routing and Account number for Direct deposit.
  • 3 Letters of reference(must be professional, not personal.)
  • Most recent Diploma.
  • Cash for criminal record check($15.00 if you lived in NC the last 5 years; $19.00 if not.


When our Human Resources Department receives your job application and resume, we will pre-screen your job application for the habilitation technician position to ensure that you meet our minimun requirements for a employment. If you meet the minimum requirements, we will contact you and schedule a time for you to interview at our office. Please be sure to arrive 5-10 minutes early for your job interview at our Triangle Office located in Raleigh, NC.
