Adult CPR -$30 for non staff
This class will teach you Adult CPR. The American Red Cross sanctions this training. Adult is defined as anyone over age 12. There will be a written test at the end of class. You must make an 80% or better to pass. CPR is valid for 1 year.

Child CPR -$30 for non staff
This course will teach participants how to perform CPR and other life saving care to children (Red Cross defines a child as anyone ages 1-12). There will be a written test at the end of class. You must make an 80% or better to pass the class. This class is only required if you work with someone ages 1-12.

First Aid -$20 for non staff
This class will teach you how to provide basic first aid skills: skills taught include controlling bleeding, splinting, and heat and cold related emergencies. There is a written test at the end of the course. You must make an 80% or better to pass the class. First Aid certification is valid for 3 years.

OSHA -$20 for non staff
Bloodborne Pathogens: This course will show you what hazards you will face when providing care to victims. You will also learn how to prevent disease transmission and what to do if you are exposed contaminant. Participants will complete a worksheet during class that will be graded.  This course is sanctioned by the Red Cross and must be renewed annually.

NCI Prevention -$25 for non staff
This class will teach you how to recognize situations in which your client may become physically aggressive, and provide you with tools to help prevent them from escalating in their aggressive behavior. There will be a 25 question multiple choice and true/false test at the end of the class; you must pass with at least an 80% or better. This class is required for all staff. This class must be recertified annually.

NCI Core -$25 for non staff
In this class you will learn how to protect yourself if your client physically attacks you. This class focuses on blocking punches and releasing if the client grabs you. There will be a demonstration test at the end of the class. You must pass with 100% accuracy.  This class is only required if the client is considered aggressive and has been approved for the techniques to be used on them.

NCI Core+ -$25 for non staff
This class builds on techniques taught Core. Here you will learn how to properly place your client in therapeutic holds and also how to safely walk your client to a safer place. You will pass each of these moves on an individual basis. This class is only required if the client is considered aggressive and has been approved for the techniques to be used on them.
