How long are my certifications good for?

All NCI Prevention, NCI Core and NCI Core plus are valid for 1 year and expire at the end of the month in which they were taken. Bloodborne Pathogens are valid for 1 year.CPR, and First Aid are valid for 2 years.

What should I wear to trainings?

Clothing should be comfortable and allow for easy movement. For NCI Core and Core plus tennis shoes must be worn. Skirts and short shorts are not appropriate for our NCI Prevention, NCI Core, NCI Core plus, CPR or First Aid certification trainings.

When will I receive my certifcations?

In general certifications are not given until payment has been made. The certifications are given to the individual or agecy who pays for the training. NCI Prevention, NCI Core and NCI Core plus certificates are made on site and can be provided the day of training if payment is made. CPR, First Aid,and Bloodborne Pathogens (OSHA), may take up to 6 weeks to receive.

How do I register for a Class?

You must register for all certification trainings (anyone not registered for a certification training will be turned away). First go to our certification training calendar and look at the classes( NCI Prevention, NCI Core, NCI Core plus, CPR,and FIrst AId) that are scheduled.
